Building on a mountain ridge is a challenging urban act in terms of planning, but also an opportunity to extract the qualities of healthy urbanism.
The design of the mountain extension maintains a structural and volumetric rhythm while creating a street wall and optimal proximity between buildings with proximity and connection to the existing urban tissue of Maale Adumim and the main access road.
The ridge line connects the project in one avenue "The Cardo" the main street of the project and the connecting space of all the buildings and the proxy buildings.
The programmatic design seeks to extract the functions that have the power to serve as community anchors, and therefore the new sports hall of the Amit High School, the multi-purpose hall of the Shehakim School, and the synagogue of Eitan Preparatory receive an independent place in the space and are foci for the horizontal strengthening of the community.
